Dog & Cat Surgery in Peoria, IL

Our Whitney Veterinary Hospital veterinarians perform a wide range of soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries, including dental surgery. Just as with every other service we provide, we make the safety and comfort of your patient a #1 priority. We are an AAHA-accredited animal hospital, which means we meet the highest standards of veterinary excellence with our surgery services. This includes the sterility of our surgical instruments and suite, as well as our strict anesthetic protocols. As a result, any surgical risks are reduced.

We know having a dog or cat undergo surgery can be trying, but it certainly doesn’t have to be at our hospital. All of our surgical patients are carefully monitored using advanced equipment before, during, and after pet surgery. This includes EKG, pulse oximetry, blood pressure, and CO2 monitoring. Certified veterinary technicians are continually monitoring your pet while they are under anesthesia. We also place a strong emphasis on pain management to keep your pets as comfortable as possible.
